Instructions for Concern® Compost BioActivator®
HOW BIOACTIVATOR® WORKS
Nature slowly breaks organic matter into rich soil through the action of beneficial microbes. Composting is the gardener's way of managing this conversion. Concern® BioActivator® puts millions of these helpful microorganisms to work converting your raw yard and garden waste into rich compost.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For general applications
This box treats a 3' x 3' x 5' pile, approximately 1 ton of raw materials. Just sprinkle BioActivator® on any organic matter. Moisten and turn as needed.
One successful composting method:
Gather and mix or layer organic materials (and yard wastes).
Sprinkle BioActivator® -- 2 scoops (4 Tablespoons) on each 6" layer.
Moisten thoroughly. It should feel like a squeezed-out sponge.
Repeat layers and moisten until materials are at least 3' high in pile or bin.
Turn or fluff weekly and keep moist.
To re-charge a cool pile:
Poke holes deep into the pile every foot or so.
Sprinkle a scoop of BioActivator® into each hold and over the surface of the pile.
Water thoroughly, including filling holes with water.
