What is Safer® Brand Lawn Fertilizer?
Safer® Brand Lawn Fertilizer is a biologically enhanced fertilizer that addresses both soil vitality and nutrition. The naturally occurring microorganisms found in Safer® Brand Lawn Fertilizer increase biological activity in the soil. Beneficial microbes are nature’s “Life Support System” and are a critical link to plant growth. These microorganisms help make nutrients available to plants, minimize nutrient loss through leaching, and improve soil structure over time.  Safer® Brand Lawn Fertilizer will help restore the natural microbial balance in your soil and provide a foundation for vigorous plant growth.

Directions and Suggested Rates
Lawn Application
Apply 3 times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall) at the rate of 10 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. / 50 lbs. per 5,000 sq. ft. If you are applying this as part of the Safer®

4-Step Natural Turf Program, apply as Step 1 in the Spring and Step 4 in the Fall. For best results, apply 1"; of water after product application.

This should be followed by a 2-3 day dry period. Do not apply prior to excessive rains as this may reduce the effectiveness of the product.

To apply Safer® Brand Lawn Fertilizer at a rate of 10 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft., adjust your spreader setting to 60% open. For specific spreader settings see the list below. These spreader settings are approximate and will vary somewhat depending upon the age of the equipment and the terrain. Calibrate your spreader prior to each application.

Flower Beds, Bulbs, Roses, Gardens, and Shrubs Application
Prepare garden bed by turning under or pulling established weeds, then sprinkle 5 lbs. per 250 sq. ft. (25´ x 10´) over the soil surface. Product works best if it is scratched in or worked into the top 2 inches of soil.  Apply water to soil to activate the product then allow soil surface to dry for 2-3 days.

Do not apply on newly seeded areas. Do not seed 6-8 weeks after application of this product. Caution:  Anyone who is allergic to natural plant proteins should avoid contact with this product.

What is Safer® Brand Grass Stimulator?
For Lawns and Ornamentals

Safer® Brand Grass Stimulator for lawns and ornamentals is an all natural product specifically formulated to promote vigorous growth and provide plants with increased resistance to environmental stress. Kelp has been shown to promote root development, increase flowering, promote plant establishment, and provide plants with increased resistance to environmental stress such as drought and heat.

 Safer® Brand Grass Stimulator is also an excellent source of calcium! Calcium is a secondary nutrient essential for plant growth and cell wall development. Together, the kelp and calcium function to promote vigorous, sustained plant growth and increased resistance to environmental stress. It is the ideal soil supplement for turf, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and roses.

Directions and Suggested Rates

Lawn Application
Apply Safer® Brand Grass Stimulator in early Spring and late Spring approximately 4 weeks apart. If you are applying this as part of the Safer® Brand 4-Step Natural Turf Program, make it Step 2 and apply in late Spring.  Apply 20 lbs. of Safer® Brand Grass Stimulator for every 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn area.  Apply 1" of water to lawn after product application. Best applied in early morning.

Adjust spreader to apply 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. This is generally a 1/4 “open” setting. For specific spreader settings see the list below. These spreader settings are approximate and will vary somewhat depending upon the age of the equipment and the terrain. Calibrate your spreader prior to each application.

Sprinkle 1/2 lb. per 100 sq. ft. (10´ x 10´) over the soil surface every 4 weeks during the growing season. Apply water to soil to activate the product.

Container Plants

Apply 3 tablespoons per 6" pot every 4 weeks. Water plant liberally following application. Do not over-water.

Application 3 — Summer All Natural Ingredients

What is Safer® Brand Soil Stimulator?

Safer® Brand Soil Stimulator is a biologically diverse product specifically formulated to enhance soil biology and improve overall plant vigor. Safer® Brand’s approach to plant management is simplistic, “vigorous plants start with the soil.” Safer® Brand Soil Stimulator accomplishes this by providing supplemental applications of beneficial microorganisms to enhance soil vitality. Beneficial microorganisms have the ability to improve the availability of nutrients, minimize nutrient loss through leaching, and improve the soil structure.

Safer® Brand Soil Stimulator is also an excellent source of calcium. Calcium is a secondary nutrient essential for plant growth and cell wall development.
