Instructions for Fish Emulsion Fertilizer

Fish Emulsion All-Purpose FertilizerFor lawns, fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, house plants and potted plants.

Derived from Acidulated fish tankage, urea, phosphoric acid, and potassium chloride.

How to Use

Shake well before using.
Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer only when diluted with water in accordance with directions. Store in cool place. Material may expand under excessive temperature and cause leakage.

Established grass or dichondra lawns: 1 quart of fertilizer per 400 sq. ft. of lawn area applied through a hose-end sprayer.

For smaller areas, dilute Fish Emulsion Fertilizer material at rate of 6 tablespoonfuls (3 liquid ounces) per gallon of water for each 25 sq. ft. lawn area. Dampen lawns prior to application, then sprinkle lawns afterward.

Potted and House plants: 1/2 teaspoonful in 1 quart of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer monthly.

Roses, geraniums, fushias, zinnias, asters, carnations:
1 tablespoonful in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer monthly during growing and blooming season.

Camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, and other acid loving plants: 2 tablespoonfuls in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer at end of blooming period. Begin feeding again each month for 5 months after bud growth appears.

Tuberous begonias: 2 tablespoonfuls in 1 gallon of water after plant is three inches high. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer every 3 to 4 weeks. Stop feeding September 1st.

Flowers (Annuals and Perennials): 1 tablespoonful in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer monthly during growing season.

African Violets, orchids, and anthuriums: 1 tablespoonful in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer once a month through growing and blooming period.

Delphiniums, chrysanthemums, petunias, snapdragons, pansies, and bedding plants: 1 tablespoonful in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer every 15 days for first 30 days, then 2 tablespoonfuls in 1 gallon of water monthly during growing season.

Vegetables: 1 tablespoonful in 1 gallon of water. Apply Fish Emulsion Fertilizer monthly during growing season.
