"Dirt with Worms" Dessert   

Ingredients

2/3 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa
3 tbsp Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Salt
2 1/4 cup Milk
2 tb Butter or Margarine
1 tsp Vanilla extract
8-10 Oreo cookies (Smash in a Ziploc bag.) (You can also use graham crackers as a substitution for Oreos.)
Gummy worms   

Directions

In medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt; gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir l minute. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into individual tea/coffee cups (easier for kids to hold). Press plastic wrap directly onto surface; refrigerate. Garnish with Oreo cookie crumbs and a gummy worm. You will get a better effect if you push the worm below the "dirt" and into the pudding. This will make 4 to 5 tea cup servings.
