Kills & Repels Insect Pests and Larvae Insect invasions can ruin gardens, flowerbeds, trees and even houseplants in a matter of just a few days. Plus, the larval stage of many insects can often be just as destructive as their adult counterparts, while also being harder to spot. Finding an insect killer that kills and repels these destructive insects makes it easier to keep gardens and lawns in top-notch shape. Safer® Brand BioNEEM® controls over 30 common insect pests and their larvae by several modes of action. First, it disrupts the insects’ delicate hormonal balance so they die before they molt to the next life stage. Second, it suppresses some insects’ desire to feed, so the destruction on plants stops quickly. Third, it works to repel many insects in areas that have been sprayed.
Kills and Repels Insect Pests and Larvae

Broad Spectrum Control
Broad Spectrum Control with Neem Oil Azadiracthin, the active ingredient in Safer® Brand BioNEEM®, is extracted from neem oil. Neem oil is a naturally occurring pesticide found in the seeds of neem trees. When used to control insect pests, it works to interfere with the insect’s hormonal system to prevent them from growing to their next life stage and hindering their ability to feed. Also, unlike any other pesticide, it has the unique ability to repel many insects from areas that have been sprayed. These combined modes of action result in broad spectrum control of many insects that invade gardens, yards and houseplants.
Target These Garden Pests Use Safer® Brand BioNEEM® concentrate to eliminate these pests:

Beneficial Insects
Spares Beneficial Insects Safer® Brand BioNEEM® kills and repels a variety of destructive insects and larvae. When used as directed, this treatment spares many beneficial insects, including honey bees. Lady bugs, which prey on undesirable insects, are also unaffected. Without beneficial insects to control pest populations, plants are even more vulnerable to infestations.
For Use on a Variety of Plants BioNEEM® can be used on a variety of plants to keep them free of destructive insect pests. Mix this concentrate with water and spray to protect fruits and vegetables, including apples, peaches, cucumbers and tomatoes. Use on trees, shrubs, bedding and potted plants to keep them pest-free. Keep insects and larvae from destroying your lawn and landscape by applying BioNEEM® at the first sign of infestation. You can even use BioNEEM® to keep insects away from your indoor houseplants.

How to Use BioNeem
How To Use BioNeem® Always shake the bottle before using to ensure proper mixture and distribution. Mix concentrate with water until desired amount of usable solution is achieved. Use mixed solution within 8 hours of mixing for maximum effectiveness. Since BioNEEM® interferes with insect growth functions, it’s most effective when applied 2 to 3 times at 7 to 10 day intervals. Hitting pests directly with the spray will increase efficacy.
An Economical, Easy-to-Mix Solution This 16 oz bottle contains a concentrated azadirachtin (neem oil) solution that creates over 40 times that amount in usable spray. Simply mix a small amount of concentrate with water as directed until you have the desired amount of solution. Only mix what you intend to use for each application. One 16 oz bottle of BioNEEM® concentrate makes over 5 gallons of solution.

Very good productes By Lee

It's the best I have ever used. It's controlled the cucumber Beatles better than any other product. It also took care of the cinch bugs that were causing blossom rot in my squash and the horned tomatoe caterpillars in my cherry tomatoes

Tips for Using Safer® Brand BioNEEM® Insecticide and Repellent, Concentrate

General Information

The effectiveness of BioNEEM® is based on several modes of action. It disrupts insects’ hormonal balance so they die before they molt to the next life stage. BioNEEM® suppresses some insects’ desire to feed and also repels in areas that have been sprayed. These different modes of action result in broad spectrum control of the majority of insects that harm your yard and garden.

BioNEEM® spares many beneficial insects such as honey bees and lady bugs that prey on undesirable insects. Without beneficial insects to control pest populations, plants are even more vulnerable to new infestations.

Neem-based products have been extensively tested and used as effective insecticides in commercial green houses. The Neem seed has been the subject of extensive testing throughout the world since World War II. Neem has been tested at major universities throughout the U.S. since 1982.

It comes from a natural source: An extract from the seeds of the neem tree, a renewable resource. The neem tree is native to India, Africa and several other tropical countries.

FAQs

FAQs About Insects in Your Garden and Safer® Brand BioNeem Insecticide and Repellent, Concentrate

Q: My plant leaves look chewed! Do you know what type of insect might do that?

A: Insects that have the ability to chew plants must have special cutters in their mouths for this purpose. Such insects may include caterpillars, beetles, and grasshoppers, for example.

Q: If I use a floating row cover, how will bees and other pollinating insects reach the plants?

A: They won’t be able to so you will need to pollinate them yourself by hand. Check with your local garden center or farm supply store to find out how to hand pollinate them. You may want to remove the row covers during times of insect pollination.

Q: How do I know if my plant is being attacked by an insect or a disease?

A: If it’s an insect, the plant may have holes in its leaves. Turn the leaves over and you may see the insects themselves clustered on the underside of the leaves. You may also see and feel a sticky substance if it’s an insect because the insect will leave a secretion on the plant.

Q: When is the best time of day to use BioNeem?

A: Time applications for early to mid morning or in the late afternoon.
