Helpfulness
Top-notch company; top-notch product!

This is such an honorable company. We have relied on their clothes moth traps for years. This year, we ordered pantry moth traps by mistake. When I called about the error, they insisted on sending me my full order of clothes moth traps at no cost. In a pandemic economy, this is an incalculable blessing. I hope this enthusiastic review of both product and company will offer that blessing back!
Good product but

I’ve been using these traps and they do lure moths in. Your instructions say to hang them at eye level but there is no obvious way to hang them. I also don’t understand why it is necessary to push the lure through the slot rather than just dropping it in the hole or hand placing it onto the glue surface. The box says to remove adhesive release paper for additional placement options. I have no idea what you mean I should do to find these options

We are so happy to hear about the success you have had using these traps. Any type of string can be used to hang them. And you are correct, the lure can simply be dropped in the hole or placed on the glue surface, after the protective paper is peeled off. Please contact us at 1-855-7-ORGANIC (1-855-767-4264) if there are any questions.
The product does not work.

I'm very sorry to say that the so-called "moth traps" did not catch a single moth. I continued to see at least one or two moths flutter by each day, but none were attracted to the trap, whereas a few years ago I used a different brand of moth trap that was extremely effective.

We apologize for this experience. For the best results, we recommend hanging the traps at eye level in the closets and rooms to be protected. Special attention should be given to items containing wool, cashmere or other animal hair. This product is covered by a 30 day return policy and a one year warranty with a copy of the purchase receipt. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-7-ORGANIC (1-855-767-4264) with any questions or for additional assistance.

About 5 years ago, a couple in our 60 unit 120 year old brick and timber loft building bought a used rug, which proved to be the ground zero for a moth infestation. Since then we've been using Safer Moth Traps in each unit and in the halls. While the problem has not completely gone away, it seems to be keeping them down to a controllable level.
