Q.Should I protect the leftover from freezing or is storing in an unheated garage/shed OK?
A.

There is no reduction in efficacy if the product becomes frozen.  We recommend allowing the product to return to room temperature before applying, and making sure that it does not become wet when in storage. 

Q.What settings for Scott's Speedy Green 2000 rotary spreader
A.

Because there are so many different types of spreaders available, we are not able to recommend specific settings for each kind. To find the right setting for your spreader, we suggest starting with the middle setting and adjusting higher or lower depending on how much product is dropped.

Q.It’s been in the 90’s but we’ve had quite a lot of rain. I’m now seeing large brown spots. Any answers? Maryland.

Brown spots may result from a variety of problems, from drought to grubs.

We do not recommend mixing our product with other types of fertelizers or lawn additives.

Q.I live on Long Island, how long after I order this will I get it? I saw on some sites it can be 2-3 months before it is shipped

When this product is in stock, ground shipping takes between 3-5 business days.

Q.The old Ringer's Lawn Restore marketing said "no bio-solids" . I can't find any such claims for the new Safer Lawn Restore Fertilizer. Are there any bio-solids in Lawn Restore... Or any Safer products?

This product does not have bio-solids.

Q.Will this help my lawn choke out the clover that’s overtaking it?
A.

This product will help your lawn strengthen and edge out unwanted invaders like clover.

Q.On the “when to apply” map, it says Northeast lawns should be fed Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving (optional). But in an article in the Safer website, it says cool weather grass only should not be fed during the warm weather. What’s the right advice?

The dates provided are recommendations, if your weather is not warm during all of the dates listed, skip the corresponding application.

Q.Just got this newer product and noticed it doesn’t have a settings for Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard. What is the recommended setting for this new product? Thank you.

Yes, this product may be used on zoysia grass.

Q.Your lawn restore is made with soy. I just want to confirm that it is non-GMO spy. It should be if it is organic but I am looking for confirmation. Thanks

We are unable to confirm that every source of soy for this product is non-GMO.

Q.How can 25 lbs. of this new formulation cover more area than before when the nutrient content has been reduced from 10-0-6 to 9-0-2?
A.

The new formula has proven to perform as well or better than before, but provides a greater area of coverage which helps you save money. It has more diverse nutrients, which will make your lawn happy.

Q.What are the ingredients in this new version? I was very familiar with (and comfortable with) the soybean meal and distillers grains used in the previous Lawn Restore II).

The active ingredients in our new formulae are feather meal, soybean meal, blood meal, alfalfa, molasses, and sulfate of potash.
