How to Use
For general application, set the nozzle to the “spray” setting and hold the bottle 8-12 inches from the target area. For crack-and-crevice treatment, set the nozzle to the “stream” setting. Spray directly on pests until wet, but not to the point of runoff. There’s no residue to wipe up – the spray will dry without cleanup. It is perfect for use in kitchens and pantries, behind baseboards, around windows and doors, in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other areas of your home.

We bought three sprays two of the regular sprays and then this one. None of them work. We sprayed on cockroaches and while it slowed them down the claim that it will kill on contact or in under three minutes was just not true for us. We sprayed four different cockroaches and while it slowed them down just for a second none of them died. I watched one for over 10 minutes literally just waiting to see what would happen and when I went to go grab them he was running just as fast to get away from me as he was before he was sprayed. We want to believe in this product of course because we’re looking for a healthier option for a house, but I have to be honest with you, our experience with every single spray that we purchased, this did not work on our American cockroach. We live in the country so we see lots of them, and I was really hoping to report that this product works for us, but it did not. It’s a bummer because we just dropped like $70 on it.

I have used this product for over 2 years and I cannot praise it enough. Does not stain walls or furniture- a big plus. Perfect around windows for lady bug and other flying insect control- and it lasts all year +! No sickening odor. Honestly, the best indoor pest spray that I have ever used and is 'Safer' for dogs and the environment. Truth.
I bought Safer because I've never seen it and i just needed something else to kill the ants in my house. However, NY has been invaded by the red lantern fly and is impossible to catch and kill it with your hand. When i saw the RLF i quickly grabbed the Safer spray and with 2 sprays it was dead. I'm very pleased with the product and 1000% recommend everyone buy it and eradicate the RLF. For my and problem it worked immediately. They die on the spot!
I tested this for Safer, however, my review did not get posted. Worked fine on ants, but took drowning the teeny spiders to kill them. Large spiders...I chased one all over my garage spraying big doses & no results. Had to squish him after all that torture. I would not recommend this product

Spray has been effective killing indoor ants and beetles. I prefer using a product that's essential oil based versus other insect killers for indoor use. Odor isn't strong and hopefully the essential oils will also repel insects.
I was surprised at how well this worked. Every year we have the tiny sugar ants invasion by our back patio door. Always had to use products that were not safe for my cats. This worked quite well, took 2-3 applications because it is a big nest under the outside of the door but it really rid us of this problem Very little odor & safe for my cats. Definitely will continue to use.
No, it’s not safe for use around pets. Keep cats away from treated areas.

How can you say Safer is safe for pets when clove oil, one of the product's main ingredients, is toxic to cats? You need to make that very apparent and clear on your packaging and in your advertising, or make explicit instructions on how to use it safely appear in large, obvious lettering. We have a problem with roaches getting into our cats' food in their bowls (among other places). I had planned to spray the Home Indoor Pest Control Spray in the vicinity around their bowls, but now having read up on it, I don't believe it would be safe at all. I would hate to think someone could suffer the death or severe illness of their cat(s) because they are proceeding on just your assurance that your product is " safe for pets" alone, as I would have if 1.) I wasn't a nurse, and 2.) naturally skeptical and cautious. Other people may not be so wary.

To ensure pet safety, apply the spray only to areas where pets cannot access or ingest it, such as in kitchens and pantries, behind baseboards, around windows and doors, in attics, basements, and crawl spaces. You should avoid spraying in the vicinity of your cats' food bowls.
For best practice, apply the product in targeted areas and allow it to dry completely before allowing pets to re-enter the space.

Clove oil is incredibly toxic to cats, this should be clearly stated on the packaging. The marketing implied this was safe to use around pets, I only learned about clove oil toxicity after I sprayed this on window sills my cats like to sit on. Shameful and misleading marketing.
