Insect Killing Soap
Kills Destructive Insects on Contact

Are you looking for a product that kills the soft-bodied insects that attack your garden? Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap uses potassium salts of fatty acids to kill these pests on contact. Potassium salts of fatty acids work by weakening the protective outer shell of target insects, ultimately causing them to dehydrate and die.

Potassium salts of fatty acids are derived from the natural acids found in animal fats and plant oils. The ready-to-use solution from Safer® Brand is formulated to supply the perfect concentration of active ingredients to target destructive insects, allowing your garden to thrive. Spray at the first sign of insects or their damage, and continue to apply every 5 to 7 days when insects are present to keep your plants pest-free.

Variety of Plants
Gentle Enough to Use on a Variety of Plants

Insect Killing Soap can be used directly on your plants to keep them pest-free. Potassium salts of fatty acids target the soft-bodied insects attacking your vegetation, which gives your plants a chance to thrive. Safer® Brand also includes seaweed extract in this Insect Killing Soap.

Use Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap on flowers, fruits, vegetable, houseplants, trees, shrubs & ornamentals. It's gentle enough to use up to the day of harvest and will not persist in the environment after being applied.

How To Use Insect Killing Soap

Be sure to shake the bottle well before using to ensure proper mixture and distribution while spraying. It’s important to thoroughly cover all plant surfaces (including the bottom of the leaves) and to continue to spray the solution to the point that it begins to drip off the plant.

As a general rule, much like watering, do not use in the peak of the day or when temperatures exceed 90 degrees F, which avoids wilting or browning of the leaves. Since Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap, is a contact killer, multiple applications may be needed for full control.

How to Use

Reay to Use Solution
A Convenient Ready-to-Use Solution

When problem insects strike in your garden, having a solution that’s simple and easy-to-use is the way to go. Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap comes in a convenient ready-to-use solution to make eliminating insects of all life stages easy. Plus, we’ve added a newly designed sprayer head to our bottles for a more consistent spray pattern, so you can target and eliminate garden pests.

Compliant for Use in Organic Gardening

Organic gardening can be a fun and rewarding hobby that offers quite a few economic and health benefits. Growing an organic garden can sometimes be an investment to get started, but it often helps to save money in the long run by creating a sustainable garden that feeds the soil in which the plants grow. This, in turn, produces greater yields and reduces the need for fertilizers and pest controls over time.

Increased organic matter in your soil also reduces erosion and conserves water. Plus, some say the organic fruits and vegetables produced are often more flavorful and nutrient-dense because of the nutrient-rich soil they’ve been growing in.

Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap has been third-party reviewed for use in organic gardening by the Organic Materials Review Institute to carry the OMRI Listed® seal, which means it has been deemed compliant for use in organic gardening by the USDA’s National Organic Program.

The bomb! By
This stuff is the bomb! I have a large Eugenia privacy shrub that was infested with Psyllids, which were killing my hedge. I tried various products with little to no results. I even went as far as hiring an arborist tree service at a total cost of $1500 to treat my plants. Again, little results/improvement. Then I found this soap. Almost immediate results. Now my hedge is on the mend. No sight of Psyllids. Fresh healthy new growth. Bravo Safer® Brand!

Awesome By
I have used the killing soap and am highly satisfied. I have watched the green bugs keel-over after a few sprays. I guess they are stink bugs.

Great for Roses By
After using other products in the past, this year I used the Insect Killing Soap on our rose bushes and it did a great job warding off a variety of pests. It's super easy to use, even for this novice gardener, and I'm happy to have found an organic solution!

I've been using soap solution, but that dries out the leaves, and the scale comes back. Used this and scales dropped that afternoon, haven't come back, no harm to the leaves.

My poor ficus was being eaten by mealybugs and I didn't know what the problem was for a long time. After doing some research, I found this product. I used it a couple of times, but my plant was pretty infested, so it didn't eradicate them right away. You need to do subsequent treatments once a week. I finally trimmed the heck out of it and sprayed again. So far, so good. My plant is bare, but with lots of baby shoots and I'm happy it survived.
