If you wanna collect Japanese beetles as a wierd hobby this is for you. If you wanna GET RID of Japanese beetles this is NOT for you. In 3 days the amount of bugs has multiple by 100. It's coming down today. Very disappointed

Beetles eating their way out of bad!

I give these traps a 3 star rating. This is because they do work very well at attracting the beetles, but... after just a couple of days collecting them, I noticed they had eaten through the bag trap and were escaping. Would prefer they stayed with the hard plastic trap, the bag just doesn’t work well with these nasty varmits!

Saved my sanity

This year our yard and gardens were invaded by Japanese beetles like never before. I ordered Safer traps, extra bags and baits and immediately put them on three shepherds crooks stationed in an arc around the garden areas 35-50 yards out. Wow! Even before I got bags in place, the traps were swarming with the loathsome critters. The bags filled up so fast that I had to change them 3-4 times a day. Yep, 3-4 times a day. Best of all the traps kept the beetles away from my rose gardens and the veggie beds. I am sold on this product.
Extremely effective product!

These traps are extremely effective. We use them as a part of our IPM program at the farm. The numbers are down significantly from last season thanks to these and the other control methods we employ. I have tried a couple of other brands, but I like this one from Safer the best and it will become our staple. Thanks for a great product!
