It's All in the Formula With an NPK analysis of 9-0-2, you know you’re giving your lawn the macronutrients it needs. The key to a great fertilizer is balance so the nutrients can be released proportionately over time. The most important nutrient for your lawn and soil is nitrogen, which is why it typically makes up the largest proportion of lawn fertilizers. Safer® Brand Lawn Restore® Fertilizer has no phosphorus because the last thing you want is to promote flower growth on your beautiful lawn! The potassium in this fertilizer promotes strong root systems to keep your lawn healthy for longer.

Year Around Long Lasting Coverage
Year-Round, Long-Lasting Coverage No matter the season, Safer® Brand Lawn Restore® Fertilizer can give your lawn the boost it needs to green up, get healthier, and develop strong roots. Plants need different levels of nourishment throughout their different life cycles. Grass stays in its vegetative state throughout its entire life cycle so it is easy to keep up with its needs. Whether its spring, summer, fall, or winter, this fertilizer will help you create the lawn of your dreams.

Natural fertilizers, like Lawn Restore® Fertilizer, treat both the plant and the soil for a healthy lawn that lasts. These types of fertilizers release nutrients into the soil over time to promote microorganisms, root systems, and overall plant health. Because the ingredients are all naturally derived, there is no risk of harmful runoff that could pollute the environment. Immediately after application, your lawn is safe for your kids and pets to continue playing.

Questionable new product By JAR

I have been using for years and been satisfied til now. Opened bag alot of dust on top, maybe just from shipping, wrong. If I had to guess 1/3 of the bag was dust. In was able in past to do my front and back lawn and my to neighbors as well. With this bag was only able to do the two neighbors lawns. Hopefully they get the best lawns in the neiborhood. Will diffently think next long and hard before I purchase again.

Disappointed By Not happy

Why did you changed the formula. This new formula is not worth the price. I can get the same formula for half the price you are asking for this one.

Pickle bucket storage By Greg

I am a Johnny-come-lately to organic fertilizers. After a lot of research I began using Restore two summers ago. I love it. In that research I read that rodents love Restore as much as yards do. I was not able to confirm that claim, but I began ordering Restore on an ‘as needed’ basis. I have recently discovered that if one turns the bag upside down, quickly stuffs the low density end into a 5 gallon pickle bucket, lifts the bag a bit to fill the bottom and sides of the bag, and compresses the air out of the top of the bag, the bag exactly fits the bucket. Put on an easy snap lid, such as one finds with Lowe’s or Home Depot’s 5 gallon buckets and ¡VIOLA! — secure storage from rodents and the ability to order a year’s supply at a time! Good luck!

New formula stinks By J

I'm sure it works just as well as the old formula but this new one stinks bad. Just smells like dried poop. Not sure I'll stick with it next time it's time to lay down fertilizer again after 3+ years of safer brand.

Safer Brand is now my go-to fertilizer! By BoomerBoom

I had heard great things about this fertilizer and now that I have used it, can add my name to the list of satisfied customers! I've tried commercial fertilizers and overseeding to revive my patchy lawn, but nothing worked. With Safer Brand, my lawn now looks greener and is so much healthier! The best part, besides having an attractive lawn, is that I have peace of mind letting our family dog play on the fertilized grass!

If it's not broken, don't fix it. By TerrySu

I have used Safer Brand Lawn Restore in the past with great success. However, the last bag I bought was quite a disappointment. The new product I received had been changed from N-10 P-0 K-6 to N-9 P-0 K-2 with very different looking granules and the same 25 lb bag coverage went from 5000 sq ft to 6250 sq ft. Worst of all, using my Scott's spreader, there was dust flying everywhere. It's been a week since I applied this new product with absolutely no effect on my lawn.

Great stuff- but could someone explain... By Chris

We love it, but can someone say what the difference is between Lawn Restore and LR 2? And why does the 25 Lb bag say that it Covers Up To 6250 square ft, but you need 10 bags to do a yard of 18, 750 square ft?

Lots of Dust, Does not spread evenly with broadcast spreader. By Becky

I used to buy this about 10 years ago and purchased some and it's changed. Not sure if I just got weird product but this was half powder and half granules so the spreader had a hard time putting it down evenly. I followed the instructions but since the granules were more powder larger quantities puffed out and less actually broadcast like it used to. Consequently I have stripes down my yard of greener grass. Before the granules were hard lumps with no dust. Not happy considering the price paid

Best fertilizer By Dan

I’ve been using Lawn Restore for years. It’s simply the best fertilizer available. I tried it for the first time on a whim when planting a new lawn after growing weary of chemical fertilizers. I seeded a bit too far and a couple of months later had to remove some of the new lawn from under bushes. I was astonished to see 6” long grass roots — just like pictured on the bag — and have been a loyal customer ever since.

Q&A
Q.Should I protect the leftover from freezing or is storing in an unheated garage/shed OK?
A.

There is no reduction in efficacy if the product becomes frozen.  We recommend allowing the product to return to room temperature before applying, and making sure that it does not become wet when in storage.

Q.What settings for Scott's Speedy Green 2000 rotary spreader
A.

Because there are so many different types of spreaders available, we are not able to recommend specific settings for each kind. To find the right setting for your spreader, we suggest starting with the middle setting and adjusting higher or lower depending on how much product is dropped.

Q.It’s been in the 90’s but we’ve had quite a lot of rain. I’m now seeing large brown spots. Any answers? Maryland.
A.

Brown spots may result from a variety of problems, from drought to grubs.
