I used to love this product but Safer has a new bottle/sprayer design and each one would not spray once the bottle was down to half full. Will not buy again due to this defect. Waste of money.

Product works great! Nothing to mix or measure, easy and simple use. Very efficient. Would not recommend for newly rooted roses or for roses establishing new growth. Otherwise it works great and will keep black spot and fungus under control.
How frequently should I apply the garden fungicide to wild flower false sunflower? The instructions state that the frequency is based on plant type but there is no further instruction about different plant types
Question by: J mendel on May 18, 2025, 1:42 PM
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
The instructions on the Safer® Garden Fungicide Spray indicate that application frequency may vary based on plant type. While specific guidance for wild false sunflower is not provided, the general recommendation for most plants—including flowering varieties like the false sunflower—is to apply the fungicide every 7 to 10 days.
As always, we recommend monitoring the plant’s condition and adjusting treatment as needed, following all label directions for safe use.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

I use this product on tomato plants and the following day the leaves were more shriveled. This was done in appropriate weather. It was not too hot adequate time for it to dry wondering if there’s anything you can do or will new growth continue or be inhibited because of this.
Question by: Jolene on May 31, 2025, 9:04 AM
Hi, thank you for reaching us. New growth will continue.

Will Safer fungicide harm butterflies?
Question by: Karen Bundy on Aug 14, 2025, 11:18 AM
It's generally safe for beneficial insects when used as directed and advises spraying in early morning or late evening to avoid pollinators like bees. While it's a fungicide (not an insecticide), direct contact with any spray could potentially harm a butterfly. Emerging research also suggests some fungicides might have subtle negative impacts on pollinators. To minimize risk, apply when butterflies aren't active and avoid spraying blooms directly.

Does this work on tomato blight
Question by: DONALD J GIRARD on Jun 7, 2025, 5:07 PM
Hi, thank you for reaching us. As a fungicide, it can be used on tomato blight, just don't spry young plants.
